Janyl Adair Sherman is my younger sister. We have worked together for many years on different projects revolving around Janyl’s jewelry and the country of Indonesia where she has produced her designs for over 15 years. Sarda is our family name originating from the woman’s side of the family. In 1992, when my sister decided to start her jewelry company the name Sarda just seemed to represent everything about her and the jewelry she was creating. I also used the name Sarda Jewelry and Interiors when I started my company in 1999. We have both used the name Sarda for our companies and even though we have worked helping each other, we are completely separate companies.

I previously had several retail store locations over the years where I featured the Sarda Jewelry and imported handicrafts from Indonesia along with many other featured jewelry lines. In 2004, I decided to close the store locations and only operate on the internet. My motivation for moving into the internet was to have a place where my customers could still buy Sarda jewelry and I could still benefit from many years of building cliental. Importing from Indonesia is a part of the past for me now but I love to visit.

I hope to expand the jewelry choices available to you on this site in the future just as I did in my stores. Please enjoy the beautiful designs and quality of the Sarda line which will last you for generations.
